When prostate cancer joins you in the bedroom

A program for men navigating intimacy after treatment.

74%

of men experience changes to sexual function after prostate cancer treatment.

More men are going through this than you’d ever know. Here’s what that actually looks like.

What this is

This program was created for men and the people alongside them, navigating the changes that prostate cancer treatment brings to intimacy and sexual function.

It was built by a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse with one goal: to give you honest, practical support in a space where no one is going to judge you.

Whether you’re looking for information, reassurance, or somewhere to start a conversation you haven’t been able to have, this is that space.

Who’s behind it

A program led by specialist nurses

A program built from the conversations that matter most.

This program grew out of years spent walking alongside men and their partners through prostate cancer treatment and recovery: the honest, practical conversations that prostate cancer specialist nurses have every day. It’s now being shared with nurses across the country, so more men can find that support wherever they are.

Developed by Gaylene Corbett, Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse at Ballarat Integrated Cancer Centre.

This is more common than anyone talks about.

And there is support that was built for exactly where you are.
